We were pretty busy Memorial Day weekend, we had a wedding rehearsal dinner Friday, two graduation parties Saturday, and another graduation party on sunday. Here are some pix.
Rehearsal dinner was brisket. Some of the guests were from Texas, so I didn't have much room for error!

One grad party was pulled pork and pulled chicken.

And beans for all the gigs.

smokinj it all looks great!!! I only have one complaint and it is that you are obviously having a lot of fun doing these events. Please remember that this is work and having fun is secondary. On a more serious note were the two events on the same day a logistical problem? Looking at the brisket I do not believe that any of the Texas guest had any complaints about the smoke ring. Simply outstanding job my man.

Man you are doing great!!!

That brisket looks really good too. Congrats on such a great smoke ring.

Was it as tender as you wanted?

Thanx go vandy! I could really get into having soooooooo much fun while working. YEAH, there was some tense moments trying to get everything delivered to one gig, and trying to get stuff done for another. Probably wont be doing that again until i am properly equipped!!

Thanx king! I was real satisfied wit the ring, and it was pretty well the way I wanted.

Sorry it took so long to respond! We are on our youth beach trip in Panama beach. A buddy and I are doing the cooking for the week.
Having a blast doing it, the only bad part is I am probably gonna go home and still have my dang farmer tan. oh well, it's worth it. the worst part is no cooker. have a grill, but it's not the same.

Thanx for the kind words guys.

Panama City!!!! I love that part of the Gulf coast from panama City west to Gulfport Mississippi. I probably went to Panama City at least 15 times with my father when I was growing up. I am sure that you are having a great time. Eating down there makes me think of at least 3 dozen oysters on the half shell for lunch every single day. Alas the big oil spill may have put an end to that for quite some time I am afraid.

Well we made it back safe! Had a blast we did 3meals for about a hundred people, wed thur fri and sat. I was beat by the end of the week, but it was a whole lot more fun than workin, thats for sure! Next year I aint lettin nobody talke me out of taking a cooker with us. It was awful not having it there. Everyone was well satisfied though, and thats what we were shootin for. Vandy , the oil is an awful thing, but we were spared, it was in pesacola, about 50 miles away when we left. its gonna have an impact for a long time to come.
