Mango Habanero Salsa Recipe

This is a great sauce my dad likes to make. It is great on hot dogs, or served as a dip with chips. It is actually one of the best dipping sauces I have ever tried, but be careful with the habaneros; they can get HOT!!! Feel free to cut back a bit if you need to.

Mango Habanero Salsa

Ingredients:

1-Ripe Mango
1-Medium Yellow onion
1-Medium Garlic clove
5-Habenero Chiles (stemmed and seeded)
1-Tbsp Dry mustard
1/2-Tsp Tumeric
1-Pinch Cumin
1-Pinch Coriander
1/2-Tbsp Honey
1/2-Cup Cider vinegar
1/2-Cup Water
1-Tsp Salt

Recipe:

1. Bring salt, vinegar, and water to a boil in a nonreactive sauce pan
2. In a blender, puree the rest of the ingredients
3. Pour vinegar mixture over pureed ingredients
4. Refridgerate
5. Good for 6 weeks
