Maverick ET-735 BBQ Thermometer with Bluetooth 4.0

Maverick BBQ Thermometer meets Bluetooth

I have used 20-30 Maverick ET-73 thermometers for BBQ competitions and backyard BBQing. Maverick makes a great thermometer that is affordable and easy to use. The Maverick ET-735 Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Digital Cooking Thermometer is the newest version as of 2015, and they have incorporated Bluetooth and the ability to monitor 4 probes at the same time!

The Maverick ET-735 Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Digital Cooking Thermometer comes with two probes, which are designed better than previous versions because they are waterproof. The only issue I have with Maverick probes is the don't seem to last that long, especially if you try to keep them clean.

The Maverick ET-735 Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Digital Cooking Thermometer allows you to monitor temperatures of up to 4 probes with a temperature range to a max of 572 degrees F. If you go over this temp you will get a warning, and probably be burning up your pit or meat in the process.

The range is approximately 175 feet, which is 75 feet further than previous models. I like that feature when I am competing in competitions because I can prep meat or accomplish other tasks while monitoring the temp of meat and the BBQ pit at the same time.

When you use a BBQ thermometer for competitions or backyard cooking, you are able to measure the temperature of the pit and the internal temperature of the meat you are cooking at the same time. You don't have to open the pit to check the meat temperature, and you can accurately measure the meat temperature to make sure you are not overcooking the meat. I like to wrap my brisket in foil when it reaches 165 degrees F, and pull it off the pit when the internal temperature reaches anywhere from 195 to 203, depending on the type of cooking I am doing.
